Kind and patient persistence does pay off. Ann Simmons-Myers, the photographer behind these amazing images that follow, finally after 3 months agreed to allow TSY to publish her Biker series dating back from 1983-1985. ANN SIMMONS-MYERS BIO

Ann Simmons-Myers received her BA in Photography from the Ohio State University, and did graduate studies at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has an MFA in Photography from the University of Arizona in 1981. Simmons-Myers’ photographs have been exhibited in solo and group venues internationally and she is in numerous permanent and private collections including: The Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, Arizona; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; Biblioteque Nationale, Paris, France; High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia; George Eastman House, Rochester, New York; Art Institute of Chicago; Los Angles County Museum, Print Collection, Since 1990 Simmons-Myers has been head of the Photography Program at Pima College in Tucson, Arizona.
